Thank-You Message from TLI-2 Organizing Chair

To all committee members of TLI2,

Yesterday we have witnessed a successful TLI2 from the great team work of all of you. If not because of all your help, and team work, I alone will not be able to organize this event, Chia Lih and Pala/Eddie alone will not be able to have a great attendance for TLI. Sincerely, I want to THANK ALL OF YOU for your help, your dedication, your commitment, your perseverance, and your motivation to perform all your duties so flawlessly.

I want to thank my Co-OC Sutharat for providing all the support and help that I need, he never says no to me whenever I ask him to help to do something. Sutharat, thank you!

I want to thank my lovely Treasurer, June Lim, for being such a great treasurer. She was so detail in every thing, the expense list that she has prepared was so comprehensive that I think I have never seen such an expense report that can be break down into so detail. Furthermore, June always continuesly remind me things that I missed out, and she even stepped out further to help me to organize all the awards for the Hall of fame nicely. The idea of using the ang pao was GREAT!! When i was sitting there, Thanni actually commented that this was such a great idea! June, I really thank you so much for all your help.

To my dearest Emcee Lilian, you showed us the Courage to Conquer, though this was the first time you were Emcee for TLI, but you have showed us a great coordination of the overall flow of TLI and with flexibility with all the sudden changes. Even though you were always chasing me for my AR to send you the list that you need (^-^), but this was all because of your great commitment. You really commit yourself to excellence! Thank you so much, Lilian!!

To both of my Publicity Manager, Johnson, and Eng Chai, Thank you very much for all your help in preparing all the publicity for TLI2. Both of you were so creative in designing the email for the publicity, and were so dedicated as you continue to remind all the club officers. And when I kept chasing you two for the numbers, both of you were so patience and fast in response to get me the number. Thank you for your help! And to Johnson, I want to specially thank you for helping me to do the stage backdrop, and also the Hall of Fame last minute. Even though I gave you one day to prepare the slides, but you managed to design such a nice and powerful Hall of Fame slides for me. Furthermore, you were so accomodating in all my request to change the fond size and colors. You were still updating the slides for me, even until Saturday night 11pm. Thank you for all your dedication. Next time if I ever organized any event, I will know who to help to design slides :-).

To my registration team, I can only say, you guys and gals, are such a great team. To Jessica, Hui Kiang, Grace, thank you for your committment to help, when I asked help for registration, you were the one that offered me your help in the very first beginning. And to Masz, Parthiban, Jim Ming I actually asked your help very last minute, but immediately, you just said YES to help me, thank you all so much!. And to Jim Ming, I also want to specially thank you for helping me in so many things, there were some last minute requests, like printing the cert, but you took up the task, and completed the task flawlessly. Thank you, Jim Ming! To Kenny, who has been attending all the meetings that I have called, and completed all the task on time, giving extra miles to prepare the template for the registration for me, I really thank you very much! But how can I forget my registration manager, Jing Wen. Even though he couldnt attend the meetings as he was in KM, but he called me after every meeting, to know what tasks had been assigned to him. He was so dedicated that he even designed an automatic calculation spreadsheet for registration, that immediately we could see the total number of attendance. This was never done in any previous TLI before. And he was the first one that arrived Intel in my committee team! He was practically running here and there, to get ready the latest and most updated registration list and numbers for me. Jing Wen, KUDOS to your dedication, your help and all your support to me. To all of you, thank you very much!

To my F&B Team manager, WHY YAP, why why tell me why :-)...tell me why you are so energetic, and so helpful, and so dedicated!. You have been like a star during the meeting, WHY? Because when you were there, everybody would laugh, and smile, and want to be with WHY yap who could cheer all of us up ;-). Thank you for all your help in ordering the food and drinks. I also want to thank Eng Chai for helping to order a very delicious vegetarian nasi lemak for all of us. I have received many good feedback regarding this vegetarian nasi lemak. Good job Eng Chai!

To my SAA team, I want to thank you all for your dedication. I want to thank my Chief SAA 1, Wei Qi for offering his help to book the auditorium, get all the air cond book, and all the prework. He was so detail that everytime he finished his action required, he would immediately send me an email. And he always asked me, "Anything else to do?"...Wei Qi, not only that you always bring laughter to us, but you have show us that what committment really is. Thank you, Wei Qi! Meanwhile, I want to thank my Chief SAA 2, Bernard. When I asked him to prepare the sign for the break out session, he immediately said yes, and he was so creative to use the calendar to put up the sign. Bernard was also so flexible to help me in all the task the I have assigned, and he completed all flawlessly. Bernard, thank you so much! To my another 2 SAA, Shih Jun and Joseph, you have also showed us what commitment really means, I saw Joseph everywhere I went during TLI, because he was practically helping everything, and Shih Jun, KUDOS to you in helping to make sure that no one actually enter the emergency exit. This is the first time ever that we have around 250 people, yet NO ONE, yes...NO ONE actually trigger the alarms! Thank you Shih Jun! To the whole SAA team, Great Job done!!

To my Timer, Queenie, Terence and Neoh, even though we started 30 minutes late, and also started late after the break, but you have managed to control the time so well, that we ended the event only 30 minutes late. To Queenie, I want to thank you for being so patience to me, as I kept telling you to change the time, yet you was so patience, and so attentive to all the changes. To my 2 tall handsome guys, Terence and Neoh, thank you so much for your help to carry the big timer board on time to warn everybody on the time!

To my Audio and lightning Manager, Wallace thank you for help. You were so flexible even though with your busy schedule, you will able to accomodate the last minute change of time for the mic testing, and performed your duty flawlessly on TLI2. Just one thing, as you were so busy with the audio and lightning, i have no time to introduce leng lui to you....hehehe...will do next time...:P

To both my Photographer, Neoh and Pei Gee, thank you for your help to be a great photographer on TLI. I can see both of you taking photos everywhere the excos went. Great job! And to Neoh, thank you for helping to prepare the special award CD, very creative cover on the CD. Well done!

Not to forget my Secretary Yew Jin, even though you cannot make it on TLI2 that day, but you have completed all your tasks flawlessly. Thank you very much.

To all the AGs, and facilitators in Div N and Div S, thank you all for your help in making this TLI a success, all of you have done a great job in the coordination. Even though i was also busy coordinating with my area, but I could hear people clapping, laughing, and a lot of talking. These really showed that you successfully encouraged the officers to speak-up, great job done. And to all the presenters, all of you were SIMPLY AMAZING, with only 30 minutes, you managed to summarize the findings, get ready the slides, and prepare a 5 minutes summary, WOW!...If I were you, I dont think I will be able to do what you have done! And special thanks to AG Ee Liang, I actually ask him to help to design the template for the AG presentation very very last minute, and the result, all of us can see that, it was a simple yet precise and effective presentation. My salute to you, Ee Liang!

To all my panel advisors Chia Lih, Pala, Kah Hin, Christopher, SH, Peng Yew and Clement. Thank you for all your guidance! You have been so patience and helpful in helping and showing the different best known methods to perform my duty. Even though i always emailed, called and SMS you day and night, but the response I got from all of you were immediate, and you never said 'NO' when I asked help. All of you have showed me what leadership really is, you all are the leaders that "Lead by Example". I have learned so much from all of you!. Meanwhile, I would like to specially thank Chia Lih and Pala, for I 'disturb' both of you the most :-). And to Kah Hin, thank you for your flexibility to change your time to suit my schedule when i asked help from you. Thank you Chris, and SH, for helping on TLI that day, helping to coordinate the AG discussion session, and helping us during the group discussion. Thank you Peng Yew, and Clement as since both of you sit very near to me, I always disturb you during office hour, yet you offer your help willingly. Thank you ALL!

Special thanks to SK, for your creative and effective stretch exercise, Chia Lih would like to invite you to all other Div S events as the stretch master :-)

Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to all of you if I have been too bossy, demanding, forgetful, and etc when organizing this event. Please let me know area that I need to improve on, I would really appreciate that.

Again, I thank you all from my heart in helping Div N and Div S to make this TLI2 an inspiring and successful event. It has been a wonderful journey working with all of you. I hope that in the near future, we will have more opportunities to work together in other Toastmasters event.

I almost forgot one more person who is very cute - the Little tiny Penny ;-)...She offered her help in registration and arrived Intel so early. At first I was so worried that I might not have enough people for registration, but later everybody came to help. Thank you Penny and all those that offered your help!

KUDOS to all of you!

regards,
Bee Nee

3. Share your own ideas and experiences
4. Achieve your goals by networking with members from other clubs
